For decades the Aussies have claimed that cricket, while involving talent and a little bit of luck on occasion, is a sport won through mental determination.
Peter Siddle has more than proved that today.
Imagine, it's your 26th Birthday, you are pumped, you know that today is going to be a good day, because, well, it has to be, right? It's your birthday!
And then out he comes, brimming with Birthday joy and confidence and BAM: A hat-trick!
I am not one to stand on ceremony, but Siddle sure was and has given the Aussies the mental edge they so heavily rely on.

You're back!
If only Mitch had assisted Siddle a bit more, the Poms would have been worse off. But nice for a guy who wasn't to be seen in international cricket for more than half a year to come back with so much exuberance.
Adios.
Come on Miss Field, where are the rest of your Ashes posts!
