From an English point of view, we're much more fearful of Clark than Lee. Lee's never done that much with the ball when playing in England, but his gusy batting was an asset in 2005.

So I hope the selectors read this previous comment and Lee plays while Clark sits on the sideline!

I agree, though if Lee is back to his best, then he should easily take Hilfenhaus's place. It might be tougher if Clark is also in the running, the attack has nice variety in the three completely different bowling styles of Siddle, Johnson and Clark. Lee and Siddle would probably fight it out for a spot.

Now that Johnson has learnt that you can actually swing a cricket ball, this attack doesn't look half bad. If they drop McDonald and North, they can play the extra bowler, given that Johnson and Lee are almost guaranteed to do a good job down the order. But I don't know if Ponting will be that brave with this current crop.
